Italian Seasoning
Following my Celiac Disease Diagnosis in 2014, while grocery shopping for Italian Seasoning, I was shocked to realize the regular packets of Italian Seasoning I would buy were not Gluten-Free. After this realization, I started investigating the Italian Dressings I had used in the past. I learned that many mainstream Italian Dressings do not state they are Gluten-Free because they're manufactured in facilities containing Gluten. Not all of them are this way, but the ones in my local grocery stores were. So, instead of risking potential cross-contamination, I created my own blend, carefully crafted with all-natural ingredients and safely stored in a mason jar in my spice cabinet.
Coming from a proud lineage of Italians on my Father's side, I will admit I felt a lot of pressure while creating this blend. My Italian Father grew up in the Bronx, eating a multi-course Italian meal every Sunday. We continued that tradition in our home, and I knew my seasoning had to meet my parents' standards.
After years of refining the blend, I am so proud to announce that I have created an Italian Seasoning that my family loves, and I'm excited to share it with you! Designed to be as food allergy-friendly as possible, it has all of the classic Italian Flavors without any unnecessary ingredients. I cannot wait for you to try it.
