Shipping Policy

To help us support brands of all sizes, some products may have slightly higher shipping costs based on the brand’s location or fulfillment needs. We always aim to keep shipping as fair and affordable as possible, and we appreciate your understanding!

FoodSocial Offers shipping of $5.95 on orders below $50, and FREE shipping on orders over $50, EXCEPT for the brands/products listed below. Currently we only ship to the USA. 

Expected shipping and processing times: Most orders will be fulfilled within 2-7 business days, and shipped via standard package carriers.

  • US Wellness Meats Frozen Shipping Costs 

    • Is there a shipping weight minimum? 

      No. However, having shipped frozen perishables for over 20 years, we've learned that a package with 7+ lbs of frozen product will arrive cold or frozen nearly every time. It's especially true since most orders are only in transit for 24-48 hours.

      If your order is under 7 lbs, we'll pack with additional ice, but the the smaller the order weight, the less confident we are it'll arrive cold. Unfortunately, we can make no promises on arrival condition for orders under 7 lbs.

      We recommend adding a few more selections to your cart to get as close to 7 lbs as possible to ensure items arrive cold.

    • Orders 15 lbs and over are shipped free. Orders below 15 lbs will be charged $15.00 shipping/handling fee.

    • When will my order be shipped?

      US Wellness Meats ships Monday-Wednesday every week and ship via FedEx Ground or Express service based on your zip code. Orders placed before 10AM CST Wednesday will ship the same week; orders placed after 10AM CST Wednesday deadline will ship the following week. Deliveries are expected to arrive within three days from when we ship. Packages normally deliver Tuesday-Friday. Occasionally, packages will deliver on Saturdays due to holidays or FedEx workload. We are unable to deliver on Sundays or Mondays due to FedEx’s schedule. You will receive a tracking number from FedEx after the order ships which will display the estimated delivery date and allow you to monitor delivery progress.

Shipping prices are reflected in the cart.

Special Shipping Costs for Fresh UnbelievaBuns Bread. 

UnbelievaBuns bakes their bread fresh weekly. In addition, they only ship early week to avoid the buns getting stuck in transit over the weekends. For these reasons, orders can take up to a week to ship. When your order is ready to ship, you'll receive an automated email that includes tracking.

If you live in the western half of the US (any state west of the Mississippi, Texas included) we ship UPS 2nd Day Air. 

Orders placed after 1pm on Wednesday and any order placed Thursday through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday. We only ship orders Monday through Wednesday.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

We recommend FREEZING IMMEDIATELY upon delivery to maintain product’s freshness. Our breads can last in freezer for up to 1 year. They can last outside of freezer for 3-4 days outside of direct sunlight and in moderate temperatures. You can refrigerate our breads for up to 10 days. Our bread products are preservative free.

Thawing Instructions:

All of our products with the exception of bread loaves will thaw in 30 minutes or less. You can also leave them in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.

For bread loaves, most customers like to keep half a loaf in the fridge and the other half in a freezer bag in the freezer. This way you will always have slices available without having to thaw the entire loaf. 

Our breads can be microwaved for faster thawing. Microwave for 20-30 seconds & toast.
OR Air Fry at 350° for 6-7 minutes.

Special Shipping Costs for East Wind Nut Butters. 

East Wind Nut Butters orders are shipped via UPS or USPS unless otherwise specified.  Due to their high shipping costs, FoodSocial passes through the shipping costs directly charged by East Wind to you.
