The Matale region produces a unique green-yellowish variety. This spice serves as a vibrant alternative to the standard Green Cardamom.

Farmers use traditional organic methods for cultivation. These vines are harvested only when the fruit turns yellow for a softer, sweeter profile.

Sourcing Our Cloud Forest Green Cardamom

Our spice is hot-air-dried to preserve its distinct flavor. You will notice clear notes of ginger, apricots, and fragrant jungle flowers.

It pairs perfectly with our Cinnamon or Wild Mountain Cumin. Use whole pods in recipes to release their deep, aromatic oils during cooking.
