After Ellen’s husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, she searched for a granola that truly lived up to its healthy claims. Instead, she found artificial sweeteners, oils, and fillers hiding behind buzzwords. So she took to the kitchen and baked her own; lightly sweet, crunchy clusters made with honest, whole ingredients.

Ellen founded River Kitchen Company in 2022, and her son Bernard joined her in 2025 on a mission to bring better-for-you, great-tasting snacks from her River Kitchen to yours!
