Signature Brine | Turkey, Chicken & Pork Brine
Juicier Chicken, Turkey & Pork Starts Here
Nobody wants a dry turkey, bland chicken, or pork chops that need a gallon of sauce to save them.
That's where Lane's Signature Brine comes in.
Our Signature Brine is made to help chicken, turkey, pork, and other meats retain moisture while adding flavor throughout the meat. It's a simple step before cooking that can make a big difference in the finished meal.
Whether you're smoking a Thanksgiving turkey, grilling thick-cut pork chops, or making a batch of chicken wings, a good brine helps you get the juicy, flavorful results you're after.
Why Brine Your Meat?
Brining isn't just for Thanksgiving.
A salt-based brine helps meat retain moisture during cooking while seasoning it beyond the surface. That means better flavor and a little more forgiveness when you're working with lean cuts of meat.
Helps Keep Meat Juicy
Brining helps reduce moisture loss during cooking, especially with poultry and lean pork.
Adds Flavor Throughout
Instead of relying only on seasoning the outside, brining helps season the meat before it ever hits the grill, smoker, or oven.
Great for Lean Cuts
Chicken breasts, turkey, and pork chops can dry out quickly. Brining gives you a better shot at tender, juicy results.
Works with Your Favorite Lane's Rubs
Brine first, then finish with your favorite Lane's seasoning for a combination of flavor inside and out.
What Should You Brine?
Whole Turkey
A great choice for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or anytime you're cooking a whole bird. Signature Brine helps prepare your turkey for a juicy finish whether you're smoking, roasting, or grilling.
Whole Chicken & Chicken Breasts
Brining helps keep chicken tender and flavorful, especially when cooking over direct heat.
Chicken Wings
Yep, wings too. Brining before smoking or grilling can help keep the meat juicy while you work on getting that skin just right.
Pork Chops
One of our favorite uses. Thick-cut pork chops benefit from a good brine before grilling, smoking, or pan-searing.
Pork Loin & Other Lean Pork Cuts
A little extra moisture retention can make a big difference with lean pork.
How to Use Signature Brine
1. Prepare Your Brine
Mix Lane's Signature Brine with water according to the directions on the package.
2. Add Your Meat
Place your fully thawed meat in a food-safe container or brining bag and add the prepared brine.
3. Refrigerate
Keep the meat refrigerated at 40°F or below for the recommended brining time. Follow the package directions for the appropriate amount of brine and soaking time.
4. Remove & Season
Remove the meat from the brine, discard the used liquid, and prepare it for cooking. Keep any additional seasoning's salt content in mind since the meat has already been brined.
